Welcome to BruSue Bookkeeping. By using our website, services, or communicating with us, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please review them carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use of our services.


1. Services Provided

BruSue Bookkeeping offers bookkeeping services including monthly bookkeeping, cleanup, catch-up work, QuickBooks Online setup, 1099 preparation, financial reporting, and related support.
We are not a CPA firm, and we do not provide tax, legal, or investment advice.


2. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete financial information in a timely manner
  • Upload receipts and supporting documents as needed
  • Grant secure access to bank feeds, accounting software, or statements
  • Review financial reports and notify us of errors or changes

We are not responsible for delays or inaccuracies caused by missing, incorrect, or late documentation.


3. Payment Terms

Payment for ongoing services is due as agreed in your service plan or engagement letter.
Catch-up or cleanup services may require a deposit.
Invoices not paid on time may result in paused services until the balance is resolved.


4. Confidentiality & Data Security

We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information and use secure software and communication channels.
Clients are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and notifying us of any unauthorized access.


5. Accuracy of Financial Data

We process and categorize financial data based on the information provided by the client.
We cannot guarantee the accuracy of reports if the data supplied is incomplete, delayed, or incorrect.


6. Limitation of Liability

BruSue Bookkeeping is not responsible for:

  • Tax penalties resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or late client-provided information
  • Decisions made by the client based on financial reports
  • Losses related to system outages, third-party software, or accounting errors outside our control

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the services in question.


7. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate services with a 30 day written notice.
All outstanding balances must be paid before final files or reports are delivered.
We reserve the right to end services for non-payment, lack of communication, or misuse of services.


8. Third-Party Software

We may use tools such as QuickBooks Online, secure file-sharing platforms, and bank-feed integrations.
Clients are responsible for subscription fees related to their own QuickBooks Online accounts.


9. Changes to These Terms

BruSue Bookkeeping may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.
